For over 30 years The Terry Fox Foundation has worked to achieve Terry’s vision – a world without cancer.  Our researchers, our staff and our thousands of volunteers are determined to reach that goal. We strive daily to uphold Terry’s ideals and values in everything we do – and we always will.

Every year Terry Fox Runs are held in over 9000 communities across Canada with the goal of raising funds for cancer research. We work directly with The Terry Fox Research Institute (TFRI – the research arm of the Terry Fox Foundation) striving for the best outcomes for cancer patients.

The Terry Fox Foundation funds many different types of cancers; current multi-year studies include lung, ovarian, colorectal, pancreatic, oral, liver, oncolytic viruses and many more.

The North American Dog Agility Council (NADAC) was formed in 1993 to provide North American dogs and their handlers with a fast, safe and enjoyable form of the sport of dog agility. NADAC sanctions agility trials sponsored by affiliated clubs.

The purpose of a NADAC agility trial is to demonstrate the ability of a dog and its handler to work as a smoothly functioning team. With separate class divisions for Veterans and Junior Handlers and a variety of games, NADAC dog agility offers something for everyone!

"Among my most enjoyable activities is helping runners train. I estimate that I have assisted nearly a million runners reach the finish line of races from 5-K to the marathon."

Hal Higdon has contributed to Runner's World for longer than any other writer, an article by him having appeared in that publication's second issue in 1966.
